I’m Coach Steve Simons
Having navigated through significant challenges in my life, I now bring a wealth of personal experience, failure, rebounding toward success, and empathy to help teens overcome their struggles. I understand life’s challenges, especially adolescent pressures. My goal is to equip and guide young individuals with the tools they need to build resilience and achieve personal success. My journey provides the experiences required as a coach for empowerment, and now, I hope, inspires and fuels my commitment to mentoring the next generation.
I made it my mission to develop an approach for young people that works to achieve success despite the problems, issues, and challenges so many teenagers face. I strive to make it fun because fun never feels like work, which is how we succeed. It becomes part of who we are.

Stories of Satisfaction
A Student Athlete Success Story…
Steve’s student, a Chestnut Hill College women’s basketball standout, was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Student-Athlete of the Month, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. On the court, she averaged 20.0 points and 5.3 rebounds per game for the month while leading her team into playoff contention. She is on the dean’s list (3.94 GPA) at Chestnut Hill and attributes a significant part of her success to the growth, focus, and increased self-discipline she has gained from Steve’s coaching. Steve created a success coaching program for high school and college students, not just athletes, at any level of performance – weak, good, or great.
A Note from a Satisfied Parent…
I had to share a recent conversation my son and I had. He hadn’t communicated as much as usual, which is a sign that things are probably not on course with him. I reached out to see how he was doing, and he immediately said things hadn’t been great, BUT he had just left a meeting with Dr. D, the fraternity advisor, and they had identified (his words) some areas he needed to work on. His sleeping patterns, nutrition, time spent with his girlfriend (which answers your question about your niece), and study habits. He said he pulled out Steve’s worksheet to help him plan his weeks. I probably have that acronym wrong, but I thought it important to share it with you. I am so happy we chose to work with you; the tools you shared with my son he will utilize throughout his lifetime. Please let me know if you ever need me to speak with a potential client; I would be happy to share some of his success stories.
